Wistful driver
We've already covered ad nauseum Logan's passion for anything remotely vehicular. The child loves things that have wheels. He loves to make "Vroom, screech" sounds while pushing his little cars around the house. He gleefully announces that he in fact will drive the car each time he sees the front car door open (I drive! I drive!) Well today thanks to Daddy he added a new twist to this passion.As Logan vroomed and zoomed his cars around our living room this morning Daddy said "Logan, some day you will drive, some day."
Logan liked this idea and took up saying "Sum-Ay" (or something to that effect). Being obsessive compulsive we thought it fun to ask him to repeat this over and over. "Hey, Logan when will you drive?" Logan says "Some day."
This afternoon Logan was playing outside with Gram and Papa. It got a bit cold out for the grandparents and so they decided to play driver in Papa's car. Logan, placed directly in front of the steering wheel so he could dream about driving said automobile, sighed and said..."Some day."
