So what for?
One of the most amusing things with a child learning to speak is the innocent mangling of the English language with such gusto and determination. Logan speaks very well at this point but he still has a few idiosyncrasies that will soon fade away just like all the others did before them.His latest is interchanging "for" for "so." In other words he'll say:
"I'm going to put this chair here for we can pretend to ride a train."
or one I hear often:
"You put Meggie down in her crib for we can play now."
Its pretty hard not to laugh when he does it. Instead I just parrot back at him "You want me to put her down for a nap so we can play?"
