Busy Week
Logan had a busy week. First, he spent the vast majority of it in his nifty underwear. He does use the pull-ups to sleep in at night and if we're going to be out for an extended period of time. Of course, that said, he's also left the house more often than not in his cool Thomas and Friends briefs or some other cartoon character covered pair. Since these pages are printed and saved as means of a pseudo-baby book I'm too lazy to actually write out long-hand we'll spare the dirty details. Well ok, we will say that 99.9% of the time Logan goes through a full day (and often the night!) with bone dry underwear - clean is a different story. On Wednesday, clad in his Matchbox Car undies, Logan excitedly headed over to Westminster Nursery School for a guided tour. When our guide met us in the office Logan immediately informed her that he was here to see "my preschool." The first room she took us into he made himself at home on the floor with a few other boys, introduced himself and started to play. Let's just say it was hard to get him to leave. He loved it there and he can't seem to wait to go for real.
Thursday brought his second art class and its clear that he really does have a passion for it! With Mom and Megan off at the Occupational Therapist office, Grandma took Logan to class. As they pulled into the parking lot, Logan informed Grandma that he was "very mad!" When asked to clarify he explained that he wanted to go to art class but Grandma brought him to gym. I'm not sure he fully accepted the fact that both Gymboree and GymArts were held in the same building until he got into his classroom. And speaking of walking into his classroom, once he did so he immediately informed Miss Joyce that he was a big boy who used the potty and that he went to visit his preschool.
Friday Logan hosted the playgroup Valentine's Day Party. He had a great time even though he wasn't so thrilled the last five minutes or so because one girl insisted on playing his drum even though he'd have enough of sharing it. :) He keeps asking when his friends are going to come back over to play.
