Perfecting the pick up line

This morning we met up with some of the local mom's group at the park. Among the group were a few of our newer members. At one point Logan decided to join Michael on the bucket swings. He nearly gave up on the activity when Michael did, but instead he decided to hang in there and see what the next kid was up to. The next kid being one of the newer 'members' -- a 20-something month old little girl named Emily.

"Hey lady" Logan said to Emily's mom.

Thinking Logan was referring to the female his own age, her mom laughed and said "Oh, you can call her little girl or Emily."

So Logan did just that "Hey little girl." Figuring he should learn to both sides of an introduction I nudged him to tell his new friend and her mom his name.

"My name Logan Pott," he said - once again leaving off the s. Then he paused a moment as he looked over at Emily and said "I like cars, trucks and planes."

I'm not sure, but it sounds like a pick-up line for the toddler crew to me.
