What a helper
Logan recognizes routine. When he has a messy diaper at Gram's he gets a clean diaper and the offending stinky mess is placed in the plastic bag newspapers arrive in. A knot is tied at the top then Logan and whoever changed him carry the bag outside to the garbage can where he drops it him.Yesterday we had dinner at Gram's to celebrate Uncle Scott's graduation. Logan noticed that Uncle Mike had left the room - or at least was no longer paying any attention to whatever it was Logan was doing for attention at that given moment.
"Where Unk Mike go?" said Logan.
"He's in the potty" we told him. And that seemed to be enough to satisfy the child. Of course he also thought it was fun to stand next to the bathroom door knocking.
Poor Uncle Mike emerged from the bathroom and Logan once again disappeared. He headed off to his little training potty - which for now is where the newspaper-turned-diaper-bags reside. Logan removed two bags from his stash and came charging down the hallway holding them out in front of him. "Mike! Mike! Potty?" he yelled and offered both bags to his bewildered Great Uncle.
