This and That

Some tidbits from our recent days:

A la Jerry Lewis
When we're shopping with Logan and he's anxious to get his hands on something we tell him "Just wait, we have to pay." If He's fussing when we're online we'll say "Logan, one minute, we have to pay the lady/man first." So he's picked up on this little trend apparently. Yesterday after lunch we stopped by the quilt shop to pick up some stuff Gram needed. The quilt shop is prepared for little children - they have a bucket full of blocks of which one piece is a crane. Logan latched on to this pseudo contruction site equipment and set out on a tour of showing it off. He showed Gram. He showed Mommy. Then he wanted to show the woman that worked in the store.

"HEY LADY!" he yelled. "CRANE!"

Colors, colors everywhere
Speaking of the quilt shop, Logan loves visiting there not just for the blocks but the fabrics. We'll tell him for example, "Ok, Logan help me find blue fabric." And he does. Sometimes he goes right to the main blue section and other times he'll hunt out some blue in a wall of themed fabrics. Its really lots of fun when he starts lugging bolts of cloth around with him.

More singing
Logan is still singing. Yesterday at Gymboree he decided he liked the Itsy Bitsy Spider. He tries to do all the hand motions - he puts his two pointer fingers together and moves his hands up and down. He does the rain crashing down and then the sun rising up. He sings it too - "Itsy Spider up. Rain whoosh! Sun, itsy spider again."
